Do I need programming skills?
No. The cBook Creator is a visual expert tool with a page builder and WYSIWYG editors for the various page types. For special cases, you can write your own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code in Expert Mode — but that is not necessary.
How does the AI support you – and is it GDPR-compliant?
The AI assistants help you with ideation, content creation, image generation and editing, subtitles, and translation. The AI is GDPR-compliant, runs exclusively on servers within the EU, and does not use your content to train the models.
How many languages can I produce in?
In 22 localization languages. You can translate an entire cBook with One-Click AI – or hand it off to external translators via XML export/import.
Are the contents accessible?
Yes. The cBook Creator creates content and interactions according to WCAG 2.2 AA — including subtitles, media descriptions, picture-in-picture video for translations into sign language, and accessible navigation.
Does the export also work in third-party LMS?
Yes. You export your cBook as SCORM 1.2 or as standalone HTML. It runs in any standards-compliant LMS — or as a standalone web application without any LMS at all.
How does cBook Creator relate to cPage?
The cBook Creator is the expert tool for maximum creative freedom, with all the functions of a full-featured authoring tool. cPage is aimed at subject-matter experts without eLearning experience and creates content directly in Moodle or the cBook Platform.
